What do I wear to such a fun event?

Feel free to dress in the spirit of Mardi Gras if you’d like. As long as you dress casual and comfortable, you can't go wrong.

How does Casino Night work?

Each ticket holder will receive $100 in ‘funny money’ for the gaming part of the evening. This money will be exchanged for gambling chips to play at blackjack, craps, poker, big 6 money wheel and roulette. At the end of the evening, you redeem your chips for raffle tickets. There will be many different types of raffle prizes. You place your raffle tickets in your favorite selections. Raffles will be drawn at the end of the evening.

What if I am not the gambling type?

This is an event with something for everyone. There will be great food, drink and wonderful company. In addition to gaming, there will be a fabulous silent auction and a great assortment of class baskets. There are some unique Ursuline Academy experiences available only at this event (Principal for the Day, Graduation Package, etc.).

Do I need to bring cash to the event?

We will have cashiers on hand to help you purchase drink tickets, extra gaming chips, and wine pull chances. In addition, they will help with check-out at the end of the evening for the Silent Auction and Class Baskets. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and checks. This event is a great opportunity to get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping.

Where does the money go that is raised for this event?

Mardi Gras Casino Night is an Ursuline fundraiser. Proceeds from ticket sales, silent auction, class baskets, wine pull and cash raffle enable the school to provide a first-class, college preparatory education to Ursuline students. This includes financial aid and scholarships, arts, athletics, teacher recruitment and retention, UA global network and more. Every student benefits from this fundraising effort.
